My mum says I look like Yul Brynner - too old for Hamlet, too young for Lear

I finished my summer mix CD last month and most of the five of you who read this blog have copies. I have a few extras, though, so if you'd like your very own copy, just send your address to sadandbritish at gmail dot com and one will be on its way. For free! I haven't heard many reviews yet, but its full of tunes you might enjoy.

The photo above is the lovely cover image. It was taken by Meggan's husband Jeff (not to be confused with Cincinnati Jeff) when we down in Mobile. It was actually at the Flora-Bama Lounge - the home of many beers in a can. The Orjag story is kind of long on not as funny as it maybe should be so I won't explain. You should, however, check out Meggan and Jeff's website. They take lovely photos. At least that's my professional opinion.

I was really excited to find out what Orjag means, so I Googled it, and then the first actually useful result that came up was...your blog. Good stealth marketing, Eileen.

I'm also the number one hit when you search "Somebody tell me why I work so hard for you." You'd be surprised how many people actually do search that, too.

So what did you think of the CD?

It's pretty awesome. "So Fast, So Numb" is just about my favorite R.E.M. song. And Kelly thinks the name Steve is the funniest thing ever, and we're totally behind on our Flight of the Conchords, so "Hiphopopotamus" made our day. She also really dug the Colin Meloy track and she was going to go check out more of his work until I told her it was a Morrissey cover and then she felt gypped. I still like it, though.

Oh, by the way: Brynner.

No charge. (A lot of good some people are.)

Okay, I fixed it. Obviously Cincinnati has sub par copy editors. I'm glad you liked the CD, though.
